Let's introduce ourselves

The FAIT and FSM teams aligns and coordinate’s function development throughout product development phases and supports with function selection and integration. The FAIT team leads and organizes the work with function architecture of new and/or updated functions and aligns around Use cases and PDC. This work is done in close cooperation with Function developers from all product streams, UX team and different stakeholders.

The team Function Architecture & Product Simulator currently consists of 16 people divided in the three teams FAIT, FSM and Product Simulator and now it is in an expansive phase where we are strengthening the teams with more competencies.

What you'll do

Your main focus will be to help the organization to align around Product Definition Contexts across Volvo Cars full product range, enabling optimal user experience and initiating the need of new functions and/or product definition contexts based on user demands.

You will.. .. support complete vehicle Use cases by providing and updating Product Definition Contexts in cooperation with the UX team, attribute areas and appointed function responsible developers.

.. cooperate with S&BO, Base product development and other units to deliver excellent user experience and keep track on agreed changes in CarWeaver.

.. align and coordinate long term strategies for Product definition contexts

.. initiate and leading virtual concept evaluations.

.. be a “go to person” for Product Definition Contexts, Customer Functions and Product Functions, including related functional architecture and supporting tools.

..championing global alignment with key markets like China to reinforce and protect Volvo’s unique brand identity.
