AML Senior Fullstack Engineer

About the position

Verified is a Nordic-based RegTech company dedicated to building trust and adding value for our customers. We secure and automate our clients' most advanced workflows and onboarding processes using our API-first SaaS & PaaS products. Our platform enables businesses with powerful electronic signing, electronic identification, Anti-Money Laundering, and Smart Forms capabilities. We are implementing an “AI first” mindset in the company and you will be implementing AI agents and services both for internal usage and in our products.

You will be working on both front-end and back-end application services residing in AWS cloud. You get to work with a bunch of great people, where the whole team owns the project together.

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you won't just write code; you will own the lifecycle of our core services. You will join a high-autonomy team responsible for decoupling dependencies, reducing time-to-market, and integrating cutting-edge AI capabilities. You’ll work across the full stack - from modern frontends to AWS serverless backend microservices - ensuring our platform remains secure, scalable, and resilient.

• Agile Development: Design, plan, estimate, and develop software in an agile environment

• Scalable Systems: Build and maintain scalable systems with a strong focus on security and reliability

• AI Integration: Play a key role in our AI roadmap, implementing advanced patterns like RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and AI Agents to enhance our product's intelligence

• AI in SDLC: Implement AI in all steps of the development lifecycle, from requirements to running the services and collect metrics for feedback

• API & Web Development: Develop and maintain REST APIs and web applications

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, QA, and architects to deliver high-quality solutions

• Influence: Contribute to architecture decisions and technologies used within the team

• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues

• Engineering Excellence: Drive high standards for code maintainability, security, and performance. You’ll lead code reviews, mentor peers, and refine our CI/CD pipelines.

• System Evolution: Contribute to making the platform more scalable by decoupling dependencies and reducing time to market

• Team Growth & Culture: Support the growth of the engineering team and foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and innovation

• Experience: 10+ Years: You are a seasoned Fullstack Engineer with a track record of building cloud-first SaaS solutions

• AI Skills: Knowledge and experience from how AI is used in the development lifecycle and the pros and cons of different LLM and tools

• Technical Versatility: You have extensive experience with Node.js, Typescript, Vue.js, MongoDB, Git and CI/CD workflows

• API Development: You have extensive experience building and maintaining REST APIs

• Cloud Expertise: You have hands-on experience with AWS managed services (S3, SQS, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.)

• Scalable Systems: You have experience building large-scale, API-first systems

• Architecture Knowledge: You have a solid understanding of microservices and serverless architecture

• Security Awareness: You are knowledgeable about modern security mechanisms and authentication

• Testing: You are experienced in writing unit and integration tests and familiar with various testing frameworks and methodologies

• Observability: You have worked with observability platforms like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana before

• The "Ownership" Mindset: You are autonomous, business-oriented, and believe that a ticket isn't "Done" until it delivers real customer value

• Team Collaboration: You are a collaborative team player who enjoys sharing knowledge

• Learning: You have a genuine interest in programming and staying up to date with new technologies

• Language: You are professionally proficient in English, both written and spoken

• Domain knowledge: From FinTech or RegTech and working with regulations and compliance (we are ISO27001 certified)

• Integrating with third party data sources

• Location: Our Stockholm office is currently based in Solna
